• Imbolc Gathering of the Grove

Saturday February 2, 2008. Join us for the celebration of the first quickening of the coming springtime. Yes, frozen in the ice of Minnesota winter are the seeds of the new growth. This is the traditional time for lambing in Britain, Ireland, and Alba. The lambs are the first signs of the bounty to come in the new cycle of light and life. The divine Brighid is honored as the matron of this holy day and a splendid candle ritual to her is traditional at this time. We will gather at the house of two of our members with plenty of room for guests in the West suburbs of Minneapolis.

• Alban Eiler Gathering of the Grove

March 22, 2008. Celebrate getting that much closer to spring at the Vernal Equinox. Anticipation and blessings of the balancing point of the Sun.

• Living Green Expo.

May 3-4, 2008. The Living Green Expo is a free, annual event that provides information and products to help Minnesotans improve the environmental and social impacts of their day-to-day living. Visit Scottish Vendors & Clan Society booths for much information about the many clans represented in Minnesota. • Alban Hefin - The Light of Summer Gathering

June or early July 2008. Join us for a camping weekend for the Summer Solstice. Weekend TBA. The astronomical Solstice is on June 22nd, of course, the longest day of the year and the shortest night. We are working on plans for non-camping options for those who prefer not to tent. Including drum-making, wandmaking, music, ta'i chi, and hikes in the forest.

• Lughnasa Gathering of the Grove

August 9, 2008. Possibly an overnight camp weekend, but definitely an afternoon among the trees with feasting to celebrate the first fruits of the harvest.

• Irish Fair of Minnesota

August 8-10, 2008. Harriet Island in St. Paul. FREE ADMISSION. Celebrate Ireland with a three-day celebration of Irish heritage with music, dance, family activities and good craic. Since 2001, beautiful Harriet Island Regional Park in downtown St. Paul has hosted the Irish Fair. The festival is recognized as one of the most family-friendly events in the Twin Cities, one of the most authentic Irish festivals nationwide and an amazingly great time by the nearly 100,000 people who attended last year's festival.
